Achieve Zone LLC ("Achieve Zone," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with SALT — Speak Any Language Today (the "App").
This policy applies only to the App. Our website at achieve.zone is covered by a separate Website Privacy Policy, and our other mobile applications each have their own policies.
The short version: SALT does not ask for your name, your email address, or a password. There is no account to create and no sign-up of any kind. We do not collect personal information, we do not sell information, and we do not use your information for advertising.

To operate the App, we use Google Firebase, a service provided by Google. Through Firebase, the following technical information may be collected:
This information is not linked to your identity, and we have no way to connect it to a specific person.
SALT offers a referral feature that lets you earn additional languages at no cost. To make this work, referral codes are validated through our Firebase backend.
When you generate or redeem a referral code, the code and the anonymous device identifier described in Section 2 are recorded on our servers. This allows us to:
No personal information is involved in this process. A referral code is not connected to a name, an email address, or an account, because none of those exist in SALT.
Your study progress — which phrases you have completed, your category progress, and which languages you have unlocked — is stored locally on your device.
We do not upload your progress to our servers, and we cannot see it. Because there is no account, progress does not sync between devices, and progress is not recoverable if the App is deleted or the device is lost or replaced. This is a deliberate trade-off: no account means no personal data, and it also means no cloud backup of your progress.
All purchases within SALT — individual languages, language packs, and any one-time offers — are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
We never see, receive, or store your payment card number, billing address, or any other financial information. Your purchase is governed by Apple's or Google's terms and privacy practices. If you need a refund, it must be requested through Apple or Google, not through us.
SALT is designed to work fully offline. Language content, phrases, phonetics, and quizzes are stored on your device and do not require an internet connection.
An internet connection is only needed to make a purchase, redeem or generate a referral code, and transmit the analytics and diagnostic information described in Section 2.
We use the limited information described above to:
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for remarketing or targeted advertising. We do not build profiles about you.
Anonymous device identifiers and referral records are retained for as long as necessary to operate the referral system and prevent abuse. Aggregate analytics and diagnostic data may be retained longer.
Because we do not hold personal information, we generally have no personally identifiable data to retain about you.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to opt out of certain uses, or to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Because SALT does not collect personal information and has no accounts, we typically cannot identify which anonymous records belong to you. If you would like to make a request, contact us at the address in Section 14 and we will assist to the extent we are able. You can also stop all collection at any time by deleting the App.
SALT is rated for general audiences and is suitable for all ages. The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children, and contains no advertising, no chat, no user-generated content, and no social features other than the referral code mechanic.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.
SALT is operated from the United States. Information processed through Firebase may be stored and processed in the United States and other countries where Google operates. By using the App, you understand that this information may be transferred to countries with different data protection laws than your own.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected in the App's store listing.
